We are a pretty bad lot, us Humans. There's no justification for human life.
No justification for 'human life'?! - Well, not as a whole with all the cruel scum that it entails.
If there was a more intelligent species, they would have the right to force us (especially the greedy people who were/are in power) to be servile to Nature, so that we would have to control our population and allow Nature to regain some of its biodiversity and we could help in that process in the beginning.
This would seem like a kind of benevolent fascism, as with a parent and a child. But that is not fascism. In this case, it would be the only thing to do in a world in peril.
We are not really mature enough to be successful enough on our own. That might be due to a kind of neotany and inability to overcome sexual desire. So, the dick is mightier than the brain, as history proved. Humans never learn from history, anyway.
